Leaving a Message on an Answering Machine

Wrong:  Don't waste time, machine gun your message so that you can finish in a hurry. Not necessary to make your message clear and easily understandable.

Right:  Talk s-l-o-w-l-y and distinctly. Don't rush your message and slowly repeat the telephone number and your name if it is significantly hard to pronounce or spell.
